Interested in Becoming a THS Coach?

Thank you for your interest in THS Athletics! Here is the procedure to become a coach:

1) Submit a resume and letter of interest anytime to the athletic director. If there are not any immediate openings, your information will be kept on file for the future. There may also be an option to come on as an assistant coach.

2) Check EdJoin frequently. New positions are posted here and applications are accepted through this site.

3) Interviews are held in a timely manner after the application window closes.

4) Once hired, you will pick up a "walk-on" (head coaches) or "volunteer" (assistants) packet. This packet contains several forms requiring your signature. It also contains a DOJ Fingerprint voucher and TB test form. Both results are required before you can be in contact with students. Complete this packet ASAP and submit back to the district office.

5) To become a cleared driver, please follow the steps to the right.

None at this time. Interested in coaching? Please send your resume to Thanks!

THANK YOU for considering to become a volunteer driver for TUSD. Fingerprinting can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to clear, so don't wait! Here are the necessary steps:

1) Bring a copy of your driver's license, insurance, and H-6 (driving record printed at the DMV) to Laura Dillard, Transportation Lead, at the TUSD MOT Office, located across Old County Road from the TMS office (The printed driving record you can obtain online cannot be accepted.)

2) You will be asked to sign a DMV Pull Notice consent form, enabling TUSD to pull your driving record in the future, saving you future trips to the DMV!  You will also sign the Van Driver Contract.

3) Upon approval (no more than 2 points, no DUIs or reckless driving, at least 21 years old, etc.), you will be asked to go to district office to complete TB test and obtain DOJ Fingerprinting voucher (both in the VOLUNTEER PACKET you will receive). If you have done fingerprints with the Office of Education in the past, they still may be accessible, so don't forget to ask!

4) Once your volunteer packet has been completed and submitted to the district office, and fingerprints/TB test clear through the Dept. of Justice, the advisor of your group will be notified of your clearance.

Once again, thank you for becoming a volunteer driver. Additional questions can be directed to
