We are so glad you are interested in Templeton High School. This webpage is maintained by the THS ASB Class and is designed to provide you with answers and information that you need to really know the amazing things going on at THS.
Templeton High School is a WASC accredited public high school providing ninth- through twelfth-grade education in Templeton, California. Templeton High School is a nationally recognized Blue Ribbon School. It offers a large number of Advanced Placement classes for a school of its size.
Templeton High School is located at the end of Main Street, in Templeton, California. Enrollment has grown substantially during the past decade. Currently the school comprises 43 classrooms, a library, multi-purpose room, food services area, two locker complexes, eating areas, a gymnasium (with seating capacity for 1200), and a vocational/technology area composed of wood, metals, CAD, and ornamental horticulture classrooms.
THS has an active 7-acre (2.8 ha) farm is located on “Ag Hill” with indoor/outdoor facilities for large and small animals.
Athletics plays a prominent role in the life of the school. Their student athletes take part in various sports and usually are competing for the league championships in a variety of different sports each year.
The Wingmen, an informal grouping of THS students bring spirit and life to the campus and to all activities. They were received national recognition and were finalists for a national spirit award in 2019 - 2020.
The Performing Arts Center opened its doors for the winter concerts in December 2002 with 340 seats. Each year the THS dram department puts on two productions that draw large crowds and showcase the acting, singing and dancing skills of out THS students.
Our STEM programs and FFA program are amazing and give our students tremendous opportunities for hands on learning and for training for future careers.
Students at THS experience a vast variety of programs set in positive and encouraging high school culture in the middle of spirited and supported community.
