Final exams are coming soon.  Finals begin on Monday, December 19th and run through Thursday, December 22nd.  As in previous years there will have assessments in two classes a day.

On Wednesday, Dec. 7th, THS seniors will be given the opportunity to experience a little of what it is like to live on a budget as they get a "Bite of Reality", an hands-on app based simulation that appeals to teens while giving them a taste of real-world financial realities. Teens are given a fictional occupation, salary, credit score, spouse and a child, student loan debt, credit card debt, and medical insurance payments. The teens then walk around to various table-top stations to “purchase” housing, transportation, food, clothing, and other needs.

This interactive activity will teach teens how to make financial decisions and give them a better understanding of the challenges of living on a budget. Teens will have to deal with a pushy “car salesperson” and a commission-based “realtor,” and weigh their wants versus their needs.

SENIORS, before coming to the simulation, please download the app Bite of Reality 2 on to your device.

If you have questions see Mr. Mac.

    THS Hotline email

If any student, parent, or community member would like to report a concern to Templeton High School administration, a dedicated email has been created for just that purpose. All correspondence will be kept confidential and will be handled professionally to protect the identity of the sender while addressing the issue/concern. Students can report things happening in classrooms or on campus they know to be a distraction to the learning environment of the school or a danger to the persons involved. A follow-up email may take place between administration (Ms. Hendrickson or Mrs. Lloyd) and the sender. In most cases, a confirmation email will be sent unless otherwise requested by the sender.
