The Key Club is a co-educational service organization for high school students, organized and sponsored by the Templeton Kiwanis club.  It is a self governing organization and elects its own officers, determines its own service activities, and establishes its own dues structure.   Projects we have developed include:

  • "The Book Club" -  a reading program offered every spring at Vineyard Elementary
  • Templeton Clean Up Day
  • Fundraising for World Vision
  • Fundraising for Haiti
  • Clean up of San Miguel Mission
  • Decorate Rose Parade floats
  • Campus Recycling
  • Donating Funds to local Humane Shelters
  • "Sight Night" collection of eyeglasses for the needy
  • Gift Wrapping and distribution of Presents for the Elderly
  • Identifying Drainage Systems in Downtown Templeton
  • Assisting with the Academic Program, "An Evening for the Stars."

The Templeton Key club meets every Tuesday, at 1:00 in Room A-4.  All interested students are invited to attend and become involved.

Key Club sponsored a fundraiser through His Healing Hands organization. First period THS classes competed to see who could bring in the most money for Haiti Earthquake relief.  Mr. Scott Lewis' class raised the most money with Mrs. Breffle's class coming in second.  A total of $265.00 was raised and has already been sent to the people of Haiti.
