JV and varsity Baseball NOW PLAYING AT LEMOORE 11:00/1:00pm

Congratulations to our March Athletes of the Month!

Payton Tucker, Senior, Varsity Softball

Head Coach Keith Swank: Payton defines work ethic each day in practice and is always the last one to leave the field helping to rake and clean up. She is leading the team with 9 RBIs and has had a few clutch hits this season along with her second high-school career home run. She is doing all of this while adjusting to a new defensive position and never ceases to smile and keep a positive attitude.

Tommy Rodda, Sophomore, Varsity Track & Field

Head Coach Tony Hodges: Tommy performed four events this past weekend at the Atascadero Memorial Meet. All day, he was going from his jumping events right onto the track for his races and back to jumps. He made it to the finals in long jump, but before he got to take his final jumps, Tommy had to run the 4x400 relay in the middle of a downpour. Tommy had to go from one of the toughest races back to long jump soaking wet. He proved he is someone we can count on to give 110% effort, rain or shine!

Zack Kruse, Senior, Varsity Boys’ Volleyball

Head Coach Scott Holmes: Zack is a great team leader and is always encouraging your teammates. His positive and energetic attitude helps keep the whole team focused and motivated even in some of the toughest game situations. As a team captain, Zack continually pushes himself and all the players around him to improve, stay focused, and enjoy the game. Beyond his great team leadership, Zack is one of our strongest offensive and defensive players giving the team strength and stability in any position and situation. I consider Zack to be the “glue” of the team that holds us together. His leadership, dictation, and caring attitude makes him a great person, player, and teammate!

Chrissy Coles, Senior, Varsity Swim

Head Coach Katie Tucker: Chrissy is one of our team captains. She is a natural leader who leads by example. She makes sure everyone feels included and even organizes the team to cheer for each swimmer in each lane. She is always at JV practice helping the coaching staff!

Are you looking for 2017-18 athletic packets?

Athletic packets are available in the THS athletic office and main hallway, just outside the attendance office.

When is my athlete's athletic packet due?

Athetic packets are due to the athletic director before your athlete participates in any tryouts workouts, conditioning, practices, and games.

Who accepts them?

The athletic director, Lindsay Franklin, and ASB/Athletics Clerk, Sheila DeLisle, are the ONLY people who accept these packets. They must be submitted in person (CANNOT be left in the office or under the door). Coaches and other staff are instructed NOT to accept packets.

For more information, check out the FAQ page or continue visiting this page!

Title IX Enrollment Data

revised 6/20/17

THANK YOU for considering to become a volunteer driver for TUSD. Fingerprinting can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to clear, so don't wait! Here are the necessary steps:

1) Bring a copy of your driver's license, insurance, and H-6 (driving record printed at the DMV) to the ATHLETIC DIRECTOR. The printed driving record you can obtain online cannot be accepted.

2) You will be asked to sign a DMV Pull Notice consent form, enabling TUSD to pull your driving record in the future, saving you future trips to the DMV!  You will also sign the Van Driver Contract and submit to the athletic director.

3) Upon approval (no more than 2 points, no DUIs or reckless driving, at least 21 years old, etc.), you will be asked to go to district office to complete TB test and obtain DOJ Fingerprinting voucher (both in the VOLUNTEER PACKET you will receive). If you have done fingerprints with the Office of Education in the past, they still may be accessible, so don't forget to ask!

4) Once your volunteer packet has been completed and submitted to the district office, and fingerprints/TB test clear through the Dept. of Justice, the advisor of your group will be notified of your clearance.

Once again, thank you for becoming a volunteer driver. Additional questions can be directed to

ATHLETES: Please review the athletic attendance policy--you must attend 2 periods on practice days and you MUST attend all periods on the day of a contest until you are released. Doctor or dentist visits with a signed note by the doctor are the ONLY valid excuses for missing class on game day. Personal reasons or illness (even with a parent note) are NOT excuses and you will be ineligible for your next contest. If you have questions, please see Coach Franklin.
