Are you looking for 2018-19 athletic packets? They will be available on June 1st. You can pick one up in the THS main hallway or athletic office, or in the TMS main office. Don't forget to attend the free physical night on June 6th at TMS, 5:30-7:30pm. See you there!

congratulations to our may athletes of the month!

Colby Grey, Sophomore, Boys Tennis

Head Coach Mary K Housinger: Colby had an exceptional, undefeated tennis season this year finishing up with a 46-0 record. But it is Colby's love of the game and enthusiasm for life that makes him a natural choice for Athlete of the Month.  He brings so much spirit to our team and is never satisfied until all of his teammates are having fun and playing to the best of their ability.  Always pitching in when someone needs a hand, never backing away from a challenge, Colby is a delight to have on our team.  His enthusiastic spirit draws students to our team and guarantee that our program will grow for years to come.

Zack Kruse, Junior, Varsity Boys Volleyball

Head Coach Doug Harbottle: Zack has been a steady player all year but this month he started to rack up a lot of serving aces. Plus, he has ended the year with 107 Kills and a hitting percentage of .268. He has also been one of the team leaders keeping the boys in focus when they need redirection.

Grant Zemella, Sophomore, JV Boys Tennis

Head Coach Gary Amadio: Grant was 26-0 this year and won 92% of all games he played - an unbelievable achievement!

Tommy Rodda, Freshman, Track

Head Coach Don Crow: Tommy was a CIF-qualifier as a freshman in the 800 meters, and member of the #3 ranked 4x400 relay team in CIF SS D4. He was one of the hardest working members of the track both on and off the track.  Tommy is a multi-talented young man. He takes drama and plays an instrument in the band. He is a coach’s dream with work ethic and commitment. Tommy has a very bright future ahead of him and will be counted on to be a mainstay of our track and cross country programs for a while.

-All current THS students and incoming 9th graders at TMS are encouraged to attend.

-Parents/guardians need not accompany their athlete as long as the athletic packet is complete and all signatures are done.

Need to turn in an athletic packet?

2017-18 THS Athletic Packets will be available June 1, 2017. You can pick one up in the THS main hallway (B-wing), athletic office or TMS office. Read carefully, as there are several places for both student and parent signatures. The 17-18 Student-Athlete Handbook is available for download on this site. The physical must be co-signed by an MD or DO, and dated June 1, 2017 or after.

The completed packet must be submitted in person to the athletic director.

THS student-athletes should always make their academics a priority. Grade checks will be done by the athletic director every six week weeks. Follow the link to check out the dates and add them to your calendar!

THANK YOU for considering to become a volunteer driver for TUSD. Fingerprinting can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to clear, so don't wait! Here are the necessary steps:

1) Bring a copy of your driver's license, insurance, and H-6 (driving record printed at the DMV) to the ATHLETIC DIRECTOR. The printed driving record you can obtain online cannot be accepted.

2) You will be asked to sign a DMV Pull Notice consent form, enabling TUSD to pull your driving record in the future, saving you future trips to the DMV!

3) Upon approval (no more than 2 points, no DUIs or reckless driving, at least 21 years old, etc.), you will be asked to go to district office to complete TB test and obtain DOJ Fingerprinting voucher. If you have done fingerprints with the Office of Education in the past, they still may be accessible, so don't forget to ask!

4) Once your volunteer packet has been completed and submitted to the district office, and fingerprints/TB test clear through the Dept. of Justice, the advisor of your group will be notified of your clearance.

Once again, thank you for becoming a volunteer driver. Additional questions can be directed to

ATHLETES: Please review the athletic attendance policy--you must attend 2 periods on practice days and you MUST attend all periods on the day of a contest until you are released. Doctor or dentist visits with a signed note by the doctor are the ONLY valid excuses for missing class on game day. Personal reasons or illness (even with a parent note) are NOT excuses and you will be ineligible for your next contest. If you have questions, please see Ms. Campana.
