Athletes of the Month are nominated by their coaches based on the following criteria:

-demonstrates and exemplifies the EAGLE WAY

-servant leadership

-positivity, enthusiasm, and passion for their sport

-commitment, dedication, and reliability

-fierce competitor

-displays exemplary sportsmanship

Keli Stockwell, Senior, Varsity Cheer

Head Coach Caitlin Teixeira: Keli consistently comes to practices with a "go to" attitude. She is a silent leader, which can take more skill than the outward type of leadership, and her team trusts her integrity and word to be team-oriented. Individually, Keli has grown the most out of any athlete I have had in my program. She put in the consistent time and work to grow her skill set; including seeking out additional coaching when she felt she had plateaued. In times of frustration, she never spreads the negativity, but rather diffuses it with her smile and eagerness to continue. I find myself at times actually learning from her. Keli is best known on the team for the "Keli smile"; and that alone speaks for itself.

Zeke Mendez, Junior, Varsity Football

Athletic Trainer Sanja Peter: Zeke is a phenomenal example of the Eagle Way. He is always punctual, always respectful, always positive and uplifting and is constantly setting a great example for his teammates. He works hard day in and day out, never gives less than 100% and never complains. While Zeke may be quiet and reserved to those who haven't gotten the chance to get to know him well yet, he is the type of athlete every coach wishes they could duplicate.

He doesn't have to be asked to do things, and he definitely isn't doing them for recognition. He's always going out of his way to help his coaches, staff members and other players.

Lila Thaman-Bigsby, Freshman, Volleyball

Head Coach Alyson Brady: Lila goes above and beyond at all times! She wants to get better and she knows that time on the court is how that will happen. She loves the game of volleyball and it shows. Lila follows the Eagle Way by always being positive in practice and at games. She is kind to everyone around her and always a joy to be around! Every team needs a Lila because they set the bar high for hard work and dedication.

Keli Janzen, Sophomore, JV Tennis

Head Coach Nicol Zundel: Keli is a first time tennis player.  Keli has a great attitude and has proven to be a very coachable player.  She has worked hard this season to improve her game, working her way to #1 doubles. Keli recently stepped up when the team needed her to play singles in a match for the first time and did very well. She is a very thoughtful, kind player and accepts the challenges and guidance handed to her. I'm very proud of Keli and looking forward to seeing her play next year.

Are you looking for 2017-18 athletic packets?

Athletic packets are available in the THS athletic office and main hallway, just outside the attendance office.

When is my athlete's athletic packet due?

Athetic packets are due to the athletic director before your athlete participates in any tryouts workouts, conditioning, practices, and games.

Who accepts them?

The athletic director, Lindsay Campana, and ASB/Athletics Clerk, Sheila DeLisle, are the ONLY people who accept these packets. They must be submitted in person (CANNOT be left in the office or under the door). Coaches and other staff are instructed NOT to accept packets.

Title IX Enrollment Data

revised 6/20/17

THANK YOU for considering to become a volunteer driver for TUSD. Fingerprinting can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to clear, so don't wait! Here are the necessary steps:

1) Bring a copy of your driver's license, insurance, and H-6 (driving record printed at the DMV) to the ATHLETIC DIRECTOR. The printed driving record you can obtain online cannot be accepted.

2) You will be asked to sign a DMV Pull Notice consent form, enabling TUSD to pull your driving record in the future, saving you future trips to the DMV!

3) Upon approval (no more than 2 points, no DUIs or reckless driving, at least 21 years old, etc.), you will be asked to go to district office to complete TB test and obtain DOJ Fingerprinting voucher. If you have done fingerprints with the Office of Education in the past, they still may be accessible, so don't forget to ask!

4) Once your volunteer packet has been completed and submitted to the district office, and fingerprints/TB test clear through the Dept. of Justice, the advisor of your group will be notified of your clearance.

Once again, thank you for becoming a volunteer driver. Additional questions can be directed to

ATHLETES: Please review the athletic attendance policy--you must attend 2 periods on practice days and you MUST attend all periods on the day of a contest until you are released. Doctor or dentist visits with a signed note by the doctor are the ONLY valid excuses for missing class on game day. Personal reasons or illness (even with a parent note) are NOT excuses and you will be ineligible for your next contest. If you have questions, please see Ms. Campana.
