Our community doctors have graciously volunteered for our FREE Physical Night on Tuesday, June 6, 5:30-7:30pm in the THS Gym.
-All current THS students and incoming 9th graders at TMS are encouraged to attend.
-Parents/guardians need not accompany their athlete as long as the athletic packet is complete and all signatures are done.
-Be prepared to wait. We will have five doctors who are volunteering their time. They must perform a thorough physical, which takes a bit of time.
-Doors close at 7:30pm sharp. No exceptions.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
2016-17 THS Athletic Packets are available in the THS main hallway (B-wing). Read carefully, as there are several places for both student and parent signatures. The 16-17 Student-Athlete Handbook is available for download on this site. The physical must be co-signed by an MD or DO, and dated June 1, 2016 or after.
The completed packet must be submitted in person to the athletic director.
THS student-athletes should always make their academics a priority. Grade checks will be done by the athletic director every six week weeks. Follow the link to check out the dates and add them to your calendar!
THANK YOU for considering to become a volunteer driver for TUSD. Fingerprinting can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to clear, so don't wait! Here are the necessary steps:
1) Bring a copy of your driver's license, insurance, and H-6 (driving record printed at the DMV) to the ATHLETIC DIRECTOR. The printed driving record you can obtain online cannot be accepted.
2) You will be asked to sign a DMV Pull Notice consent form, enabling TUSD to pull your driving record in the future, saving you future trips to the DMV!
3) Upon approval (no more than 2 points, no DUIs or reckless driving, at least 21 years old, etc.), you will be asked to go to district office to complete TB test and obtain DOJ Fingerprinting voucher. If you have done fingerprints with the Office of Education in the past, they still may be accessible, so don't forget to ask!
4) Once your volunteer packet has been completed and submitted to the district office, and fingerprints/TB test clear through the Dept. of Justice, the advisor of your group will be notified of your clearance.
Once again, thank you for becoming a volunteer driver. Additional questions can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.

ATHLETES: Please review the athletic attendance policy--you must attend 2 periods on practice days and you MUST attend all periods on the day of a contest until you are released. Doctor or dentist visits with a signed note by the doctor are the ONLY valid excuses for missing class on game day. Personal reasons or illness (even with a parent note) are NOT excuses and you will be ineligible for your next contest. If you have questions, please see Ms. Campana.
